Our trip to Chicago began with a fabulous dinner prepared by our hosts, Molly & Brian. While eating dinner we could hear Billy Joel & Elton John performing at Wrigley Field. They live a few blocks away so after dinner we walked down there. While there, a man said that Siena looked like a content old man (I think he actually meant that as a compliment, I think). The boys were in their PJs and ready for bed but we decided that this was once in a lifetime so we made the trek.

Bray took this one. It was so crowded and people kept walking in front of him so 2 women actually stopped "traffic" for him to take this shot.

While our hosts were at work Friday we stepped out and did Navy Pier. Siena had her first boat ride. Despite being a little freaked out by the loud motor in the beginning she adjusted and ended up enjoying it. Big smiles like only Shayne can get out of her.

You can see Navy Pier's ferris wheel in the back. We are saved that for our next visit.

We did the architectural tour so it took us down the river and talked about all of the great history behind many of the buildings. It was really awesome. This was our view from the lake, then we went down the river for close up views. I have a close up of about 40 different buildings if anyone wants to see them :-)

Waiting for the train (subway). Bray with his new BFF, Brian. When I asked what he liked better, the bus, boat or subway, he said he liked Brian better than anything. It was very sweet.

Siena loves it when Shayne balances her on his hand. It's the surest way to get a smile & attract a crowd wherever we go.

In front of the bean. Very cool. Wow, kids have aged me. What? Did I say that? :-)

Me & Molly. Molly and I have been friends since preschool at St Gerard.

On top of the Hancock building with the city behind us.

It took me about 30 shots to get this. Good enough:-)

Siena's 1st dinner where the guests and waiters verbally assault each other. It was great. (the boys had too much fun, really too much fun).

Molly & Miss Siena. Molly & Brian were extremely accommodating and gracious hosts, especially with our very last minute planning. If you need a place to stay in Chicago I would recommend looking them up :-) He, he, he.
Looks like you had a great time!!
