Baptism Photos

Siena was a very good girl at her baptism. She was baptized at St Margaret of Cortona Church on May 17th.

Siena looked so pretty in her baptism outfit.

Montsignor Lane baptized Shayne at Easter and now Siena.

We bought this bracelet for Siena to wear at her baptism back in January when we went to the shrine in Carey with our friend Fr. Tom McQuillen. It hung on her isolette in the NICU. It was awesome to see it finally on her!

A little better than that other family pic.

Looking good Uncle Matt.

This was nearing the end of the photo shoot so Siena was getting a little grouchy by now.

It's not much smaller than she was when she was born.

Lots to Report! Over 9 lbs!

I can't believe that Siena will be 4 months old tomorrow. The last 4 months have flown by but at the same time I can't imagine life without her. Funny how that works. I have a ton of pictures to post, and lots of news to share but I am not sure how much will get done today. I will start with the most recent news. Siena had her 4 month check up today. She weighed in at 9 lbs 1 oz! She is pretty much a giant right now. In fact at the next appointment she may actually be ON the normal growth chart. She is getting closer with every appt. Hard to believe. When I asked about going out and about the Dr said that she is ready to be treated like a big girl. Very exciting. She had her 4 month shots today and took them like a champ. The only concern is her one eye (not the one that was worked on before). It is getting pretty gunky a lot. We will be giving her eye drops for that for a week and hopefully that will clear it up.

We stopped by Mrs Flynn's classroom to show off Siena and thank them for all of their prayers. Luckily the boys were entertained by Mrs Flynn's book collection.

Mrs Flynn (AKA Mama Barb) working on getting a smile out of little miss.

The girls loved passing her around.

The boys wearing their "Mama's boy" shirts on Mother's Day.

Practicing her smile. This is the blanket that was always on her isolette in the NICU. A volunteer made this and all the others that were on the babies isolettes. So sweet.

And a sneak preview of the next blog update..... baptism pictures.

Nice, real nice. This is our family picture from Siena's baptism. Yes, Brody is choking me.

Heading to Lima

Siena weighed in this morning at 8lbs 4 oz. She is ready for her first visit to Lima this weekend. Look out Lima, here she comes!

Yes, she is standing. She is pretty much a phenom.

Still haven't gotten a real clear picture of her smiling, but this is close. Yesterday we were playing peek-a-boo with her and she gave us a couple big smiles. Stay tuned.

Happy Mother's Day to all!

Siena's Room!

This weekend it was finally time to get Siena's room together. Braydon helped dad move the "really heavy" crib into her room.

First photo in Siena's room.

How did I know it would turn into this? I know, a little too close to Miss Siena.

The boys wanted to have a camp out with Siena in her new room.

Ready for their campout. They have actually slept in there every night since.

Siena is adjusting very well.

And Brody has recovered very well from his surgery. Besides a little mopeyness when his meds were starting to wear off you never would have known that he had anything done. He was quite the trooper.

Getting Big!

Siena is weighing in at 8 lbs 2 oz! She is fitting into regular 0-3 months clothes now. Hard to believe that she is getting so big. Her head control is getting better everyday and the short glimpses of a possible smile are getting more frequent. She had a big milestone this weekend that I will talk about in the next post. Hopefully I can sit down later and upload some new photos.

She is getting excited for her baptism on May 17th. Just 2 weeks away!

Brody has recovered very well from his surgery. He has not once said that his throat or ears hurt. After his pain meds wear off he gets pretty mopey but once those kick in he is back to his old self.
